My Tasting Notes:
Colour: Very dark amber
Nose: Dates, vanilla, waxed leather, hints of cider vinegar, butterscotch, nutmeg and hints of pepper.
Palate: Dates, prunes, hints of tobacco and balsamic vinegar as well as soy sauce, dark chocolate fudge, cinnamon and pepper
Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
Overall: Very thick, almost chewy, this whisky has a slightly savoury touch. The sherry is strong in this one, as are the spices.
Rating: 84/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
